Polanica-Zdrój gained its fame a little over 100 years ago, when it became one of the spa towns, which are not lacking in the Sudetenland region. At the end of the 19th century, a park, a spa house, a music pavilion and a theater were built here. The village then became a real resort, to which crowds of curationists were drawn.
