Our pension is, on the one hand, a great base to enjoy the charms of the health resort of Polanica-Zdrój as well as closer and further areas, such as: mountain hiking, climbing, cycling. It is also a modern spa, available without restrictions for all guests during the entire period of stay in Villa. In the SPA & Wellness zone you can use such devices and treatments as: saunas (Finnish, steam, infrared), Jacuzzi tubs (also with brine), Kneipp bath path, ice, photogenic beds (Sonnenwiese), sensations shower.
History since 1908
In 1908 according to the "Fremdenheim Hertha" construction project, founder - dr. Gertrude Pohl was aiming to create an exclusive and extremely comfortable space for all the Spa guests. This historical investment quickly became successful spreading its fame all around the area back then called Glatz Gassel. After World War II the work of dr. Gertrude Pohl was continued by Irena Zagrodzka. Guesthouse "Warszawianka" was consistently visited by a large amount of tourists from Poland as well as international guests. During the times of Soviet Union domination in Poland when travelling became problematic and the whole infrastructure suffered from economic stagnation the Guesthouse was turned into a kindergarten and a nursery and stayed that way until the last decade of the 20th century.
